Summer Is Here!

This time of year is by far my favourite for fashion and those of you who follow my instagram will know I’m guilty of dragging it out as long as I can, wearing a t-shirt and jeans all the way through till November.

This year I’m seeing an abundance of floral print Hawaiian shirts, smart / casual t-shirt and cropped trouser looks and of course the classic pair of shorts and a tee combo.

The one thing that will take any look to the next level is a good pair of sunglasses.

Not only will they take you straight from a 6 to a 10 they are a great way to add the wow factor to an otherwise uninspiring outfit.

Going through my drawer I have countless pairs of ‘Fashion’ Shades – You know what I mean, the pair you grab in H&M while you’re queuing up to pay or the pair you’re talked into buying from the guy on the stall on Tottenham Court Road.

Now, I’m all up for not breaking the bank when it comes to sunglasses, but I feel so much more confident in a good quality pair.

Not only will they last longer, you’re going to be more likely to take better care of them!

This year I’ve gone for the Ray-Ban 4242 Sunglasses from  and I am beyond impressed.

‘Retro goes techno in Ray-Ban 4242 Light Ray. A classic pantos style is crafted from Light Ray, Ray-Ban’s lightest material. Fine titanium bridge and temples continue the superlight theme. Patented weldless screwless hinges are ultra durable. Tough polycarbonate lenses are UV400 protective’

I took a bit of a risk going for this pair, I wasn’t sure if the clear frame would suit me but I was put at ease because the guys at Sunglasses Shop give you a whole 365 days to decide if you want to switch them for a different pair – provided they are in the same condition they arrived in!

They also have a great live chat feature on their page to answer any questions you might have before buying.

The sun is absolutely blaring right now, so what are you waiting for? Upgrade you’re summer style at

I dare you to find a pair you don’t like!
